Planning & Consulting

Step 1: Building vs. Buying a Home

The custom home building process will take the better part of a year to complete. Be prepared to have the time and patience to make many decisions.

Step 2: Secure Financing

Once the decision to build has been made, your local banker should be your first stop if you are financing any part of the home construction or land.

Step 3: Schedule a Consultation

Once you have found prospective locations, contact DH&D for a consultation. We will be glad to assess the different properties and make building recommendations.
